Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Carlton on Trent

JRL Modular are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative for a Permanent PAYE position at our factory in Carlton-On-Trent, NG23.

DUTIES

Material Supply: Pick and deliver materials to factory assembly lines in accordance with production schedules. Inventory Handling: Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory counts and audits. Large Module Movement: Safely transport large modules and components using appropriate lifting and handling equipment. Skip Management: Empty and manage waste skips, ensuring proper disposal and recycling procedures are followed. Yard Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of external yard areas, including sweeping, waste removal, and general upkeep. Warehouse Operations: Load/unload deliveries, verify incoming goods, and store items in designated locations. Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently. Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage and hazard reporting. Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to support overall operational efficiency.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Experience of working in a similar environment Appropriate fork lift truck licence (counterbalance) Desirable: Cherry Picker/Combi Lift/Banksman - although training may be given A keen eye for Health & Safety, Working Safely Drive and motivation Flexible in approach to working hours (on occasions loading has to be done outside of normal working hours) Excellent attendance and reliability record An eye for detail Be a team player

HOURS & SALARY

Permanent PAYE Position Weekly Paid 13.50ph PAYE Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:00pm Friday 7:30am to 15:00pm 40hr working week Monday to Friday
