Job Description
Hampton Frames Ltd is expanding our warehouse team! We're a leading supplier of picture frames with a high?volume online sales operation. We're looking for a motivated, organised Warehouse Operative to join us at our site in Elkington, near Welford, Northamptonshire (NN6).
Important: Our warehouse is in a rural location with no public transport links - you must have your own reliable transport to get to work.
The Role - Pick, Pack, Ship
Pick and pack customer orders quickly and accurately for dispatch Load/unload deliveries and check goods in/out against paperwork Physically demanding work when unloading 40ft shipping containers by hand - several times per year Use our Sicon Warehouse Management System to manage stock and update inventory Operate reach and/or counterbalance forklifts safely (training available if needed) Build pallets, wrap goods, and prepare shipments to meet courier deadlines Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre experience (preferred) Reach and/or counterbalance forklift licence (preferred) - training provided for the right candidate Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy, high?volume operation Good physical fitness - manual handling is a daily part of the role Spoken and written English essential for following instructions and completing documentation Team player with a positive, can?do attitude
Hours & Benefits
25,500 per annum starting salary Pay increase on successful completion of a 3?month probation period Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm - no weekends 20 days holiday per year (Jan-Dec) plus bank holidays - Year 1 pro?rata Free on?site parking
