Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive

Warehouse Operative

to support the smooth running of our small warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organisation, and thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment. You'll play a key role in preparing equipment, managing stock and ensuring all deliveries are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and log incoming deliveries Unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs Carry out regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records Monitor stock levels and flag any shortages or issues Organise and label stock, keeping shelves and storage areas tidy Keep the warehouse unit and external bin area clean, safe and well-maintained Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly targets Assist with minor collections, drop-offs, or maintenance when needed

Working Hours

22.5 hours per week (mainly 7:00am-11:30am) Flexible hours to suit delivery schedules and business needs A new rota is issued every two weeks Must be available on days when deliveries are due

Requirements

Aged 18 or over Physically fit and capable of manual lifting Trained forklift driver Drivers Licence Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Able to work independently and follow instructions Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential
