We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including stock management, materials handling, and shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in warehouse environments and possess the necessary skills to ensure efficient and safe operations within our facility. Responsibilities

Assist with the loading and unloading of goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software to track inventory movements. Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

Experience

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly desirable. Proficiency in using forklift trucks safely is preferred; certification is a plus. Knowledge of materials handling techniques, stock control, and shipping & receiving procedures.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
