We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials, stocking, and maintaining inventory. This position involves physical tasks such as heavy lifting and requires a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing orders.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse. Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring that all items are accounted for. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse operations.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in materials handling. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, such as AS400, is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
