We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly, working towards BRCGS standards to maintain the highest levels of food safety and quality.
Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be a key part of our operations team, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently. You will work closely with production, logistics, and administrative teams to maintain smooth warehouse operations, manage stock, and support deliveries--all while working towards BRCGS standards.Key Responsibilities:
Pick and pack orders accurately for delivery.
Receive and receipt goods into stock, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
Prepare and wrap pallets for dispatch.
Deal with hauliers and manage delivery bookings.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate stock and deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift use preferable).
Support ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Work to BRCGS standards, completing any required documentation and adhering to procedures for food safety and quality.
Skills & Experience:
Previous warehouse experience desirable.
Forklift license preferred.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Physically able to lift, move, and manage stock safely.
Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.

Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Friendly, approachable, and able to liaise effectively across departments.
Flexible attitude to adapt to occasional changes in workload or shift times.
