Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a team within the exhibition industry.

Prior warehouse experience and knowledge of forklift operation are essential. The position is suitable for individuals who can demonstrate reliability and contribute to an efficient warehouse operation while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of products An awareness of asset management or stock inventory systems Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing items for dispatch or receipt Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment Perform basic mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all warehouse activities Assist with ordering workshop materials A positive attitude is essential in this role alongside the motivation to contribute what is needed to deliver what the requirements of the customer

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred Valid forklift licence is essential Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly Mechanical knowledge or construction experience beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management processes Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
