Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, supporting shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory management tasks.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and stock levels Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring quality standards are maintained Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and verification of goods Stock shelves and organise materials efficiently within the warehouse space Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance Assist with materials handling tasks, including moving heavy or bulky items safely Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory control procedures Support mechanical maintenance tasks where applicable, utilising basic mechanical knowledge

Experience

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous but not essential; training may be provided Experience with stock management, picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes is beneficial Mechanical aptitude or construction experience can be an asset for maintenance tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and documentation
