About the role

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a new opportunity? AMS Recovery Truck Bodies is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Wisbech. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

Receive, unload, and check deliveries, reporting any damages or discrepancies.

Store goods in the correct warehouse locations, ensuring stock is organised and accessible, also making sure good stock levels are maintained.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks, to move goods safely (ideally fork truck trained).

Carry out regular stock checks and assist with our new inventory management software.

Adhere to all health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Work effectively on an individual basis and as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

What we are looking for

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

The ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy objects.

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, as full training will be provided.

Driving licence due to local delivery/ collections

Full-time, Monday-Friday. Permanent position

with potential for long-term growth.

On-site parking.
