We have an exciting opportunity for?an?enthusiastic?Warehouse Operative/Driver?to join our?team in Farnborough.?We are looking for someone with warehousing experience, who is hard-working, conscientious and passionate about contributing towards the smooth and professional delivery of products to customers at their building sites. This is a very physical role involving heavy lifting.

Warehouse Operative/Driver Responsibilities Include:

Packing, picking and labelling of stock for final delivery Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles Checking and receipt of goods delivered Putting stock away Use of the Warehouse Management System Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures To comply with company procedures with the use of mechanical handling equipment Corresponding with internal departments when necessary Assisting with stock taking Keeping warehouse/yard area clean and tidy Conduct full vehicle inspections Fueling Vehicles Safe and efficient handling of vehicle in all respects, including the optimisation of fuel usage, cleanliness of vehicle Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times Ensure that all delivery procedures are followed in line with Company and Customer procedures Ensure all Company documentation and equipment is returned to the transport office/depot daily Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met within Company and legal frameworks Report vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training provided.

Qualities Desired:

Counterbalance and/or Reach truck certificate Have multi-drop driving experience Physically fit to perform manual tasks as required Organised and good attention to detail Self-motivated Confident and able to use own initiative when needed Excellent time keeping skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Pay: 29,000.00-30,000.00 per year
