Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their Warehouse team at their Letchworth site. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. You will be joining our Letchworth Distribution Centre which consists of warehouse, customer services, purchasing and sales teams. Our distribution centres play a huge part in the business growth strategy through offering first class expertise to help its customer base reduce their total packaging costs.

Standard working hours are 08:00am-17:00pm Monday-Friday however can be expected to start as early as 6:00am when required.

The role of Warehouse Operative:

Duties will specifically cover the following areas:

Picking sales orders accurately ensuring targets are met Use of barcode scanning handheld devices to record goods in, picking and product movements Assisting with additional dispatch, goods in and loading tasks Wrap, secure and accurately label finished goods Loading vehicles with finished product General daily checks and housekeeping duties Assisting with stock takes if required

Key Skills and Operational Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following:

Competent and actively using Reach forklifts First Aid and Fire Marshall experience desirable but not essential Great eye for detail Passion and self-motivated Class 1 or 2 licence
