We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse/Driver person to join our team here at Wakefield.
The role is full-time/37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours as required. Hours of work are as follows; Start and finish times will be between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday. However, you must be flexible with hours/start & finish times due to the nature of the role.
There are 3 elements to this role and the successful applicant will be required to undertake the following duties:
Picking customer orders for dispatch using handheld data terminals. Packing orders ready for dispatch. Loading and unloading of large containers as required, manual handling of boxes weighing up to 25 kilos + any other ad hoc duties.
Opening and closing of site/premises
Setting and UN-setting of alarm system
Respond to out of hours alarm activation's - attending site/premises as required.
Drive 3.5 Ton Van with capacity for 1 ton load long and short distances, manual loading and unloading of vehicle at one or both ends of journey.
Complete local deliveries, collections/drop offs/banking
Assist with set up and clearance of Exhibition materials.
Delivery/clearance of stock to Double TWO Shops as required.
Must have full clean driving licence
Must have own vehicle (to attend out of hours alarm activation's)
Previously held some security responsibilities
Would be helpful to have the ability to undertake general maintenance/DIY related tasks around the site to a good/safe standard.
For insurance purposes you must be a minimum of 25 years of age +
Must be able to provide details of full employment history for last 10 years + any gaps in employment + excellent, relevant employment references.
