The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced full time Warehouse Operative to work in a small close knit team, reporting into the Warehouse & Logistics Manager. You will work on both Trade orders and hand picking e-commerce/Amazon orders. Ideally you will have both Reach and Counterbalance FLT licences to help out in Trade, however this can be paid for by the company.

Teamwork, accuracy, flexibility and a can-do, hardworking attitude are essential. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm, with summer early finishes on Friday.

What will you get up to?

Manually picking and packing trade and e-commerce orders for UK and International partners accurately, efficiently and to a high standard

Weigh and measure consignments in line with outside carriers' requirements.

Identifying any errors or discrepancies and correcting prior to dispatch or raise to the warehouse office staff

Conduct daily workplace inspections and GMP audits

Conduct forklift and manual handling daily checks

Carry out perpetual stock counts when required

Assist with end of year stock take

Assist with stock and packaging replenishment

Support in the stock rotation of multiple lines

Comply with all H&S processes and procedures

Ensure all workspaces are clean and tidy and adopt a "clean as you go" policy

Unload Goods In and check off product in line with the Goods In Process

Label up packed orders ready for despatch with nominated carrier

Load carriers with correct orders

Who do we need?

Technical Skills

Reach & Counterbalance forklift truck licenses preferred

Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ideally with some e-commerce experience

Personal Skills

Attention to detail

Friendly and works well as part of a small warehouse team

Good communicator

Flexible
