Duties
Carefully select and pack products according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Handle materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment following safety protocols
Manage stock levels through picking, packing, stocking, and organising inventory in the warehouse management system
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading lorries
Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines
Experience
Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is desirable but not mandatory; training will be offered if required
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and stock management processes
Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse machinery is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Prior experience in picking & packing, stock organisation, or quality control roles will be beneficial
