Warehouse Operative/picker
Job Description
Seafood Wholesaler based at Blochairn wholesale market is currently seeking a dependable and punctual candidate to join our team as a Night Shift Warehouse Worker. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Aiding with taking orders from emails/phone messages
- Creating delivery notes in sage system
- Helping to organise delivery runs and co-ordinate drivers.
- Pick and pack orders for deliveries.
- Organize and maintain warehouse space
- Assist in loading and unloading vans
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- You must be able to operate basic computer systems to process invoices/ read emails etc. You do not need to have experience with sage, training will be provided.
Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Start time 2 am until finish ( generally 10am-12 pm).
Working days are Monday - Saturday - (5-day week, the
day off would be mid-week

Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred, but not required. Ability to work effectively in a night shift schedule, including weekends (Friday into Saturday only) Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on punctuality and attendance. Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail. Must have basic computer skills. Own transport or the ability to get to work without public transport due to start times.
