Overview

We are seeking a diligent and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Reports to: Warehouse Picking Manager

The Order Filler/Picker is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the checking area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Order Filler is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

Order Picking : Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Assemble various items of grocery stock for shipment. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.

Quality : Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

Inventory : Conduct physical inventories and locate products as required.

Safety, Security : Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills: Previous Warehouse picking experience along with teamwork and effective communication skills are essential for this role. The Order Filler/Picker must be able to read and count accurately, do simple maths, and write legibly. Available for immediate start

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
