Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, efficient materials handling, and adherence to safety protocols within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards. Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Utilise warehouse management systems to track stock levels and manage inventory effectively. Conduct quality control checks on products before packing to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet packing deadlines and fulfil customer orders promptly.

Skills

Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of quality control measures to ensure product integrity.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and stock levels. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in picking and packing roles is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
