Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse. The successful candidate will ensure that all shop floor activities run to schedule, support team members when issues arise, and work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure schedules and productivity targets are achieved.
Delegate tasks effectively among warehouse staff and monitor performance.
Provide support and guidance to team members, resolving operational issues promptly.
Review all paperwork, ensure all orders are actioned, and provide feedback when required.
Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Assist the Warehouse Manager with workflow planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Oversee inventory accuracy and contribute to effective stock control.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (
must have previous supervisory experience
).
Strong leadership and delegation skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Valid Forklift Licence is a bonus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational standards.
