Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description
Key function of the role will be to ensure effective management of goods in, dispatch and general stock management alongside assisting with customer delivery & installation of Furniture, Window treatments & home accessories.
This will include safe and secure handling of all product, associated administrative duties & adhering to company health & safety policy's.
The successful applicant must be an excellent team player & good communicator on all levels, someone with excellent organisational skills & strong commercial awareness with a strong focus on delivering customer service excellence.
Main responsibilities of this role include:
- Goods receive & manage stock in/out off the warehouse
- Ensure all orders are picked & prepared accurately
- Assist with customer deliveries & furniture project installations
- Administration duties linked to stock control, delivery notes preparation, maintain procedures
- Health & Safety in the Warehouse
Essential skills
Good work ethic and 'can do' attitude
Joinery/handy man skills (not essential but desirable)
Competent computer skills, use of Microsoft Office Software (word/ excel and outlook)
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexible attitude to hours
High standard of personal presentation & pride in the warehouse presentation
Efficient work methods
Clean driving Licence
Forklift licence
