Job Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Warehouse Manager

to take full responsibility for our small warehouse operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure daily activities are carried out effectively, maintain accurate inventory levels, and drive improvements in process and performance. You will be instrumental in creating a well-organised, safe, and efficient environment that supports our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities



As Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Operational Leadership:


Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including goods-in, goods-out, storage, and picking. Ensure all workflows are smooth, timely, and efficient.

Team Management:


Supervise, support, and develop a team of four warehouse staff. Provide ongoing training, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Inventory Control:


Maintain accurate stock levels using our bespoke inventory management system. Carry out regular stock checks and audits to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.

Process Improvement:


Analyse current warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service levels. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures.

Health & Safety Compliance:


Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct routine risk assessments, oversee safe manual handling practices, and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.

Logistics Coordination:


Oversee the scheduling and coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments. Work closely with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Facilities & Equipment:


Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment and facilities. Arrange for repairs and maintenance as required to ensure all resources remain in safe and functional condition.

Key Skills and Experience Required



We're looking for someone who brings:

Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role Strong understanding of logistics, stock control, and warehouse operations Ability to lead and inspire a team while fostering a positive and productive work environment Competency in using inventory or warehouse management systems Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Physical capability to handle and move goods as needed (some heavy lifting required) A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
