Lead and motivate a team of warehouse professionals (pickers, packers, forklift operators) to achieve operational targets with precision. Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock control, order fulfillment, and regular cycle counts. Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., COSHH, OSHA) to foster a secure workplace. Respond to customer inquiries via email promptly and professionally, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction. Update and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders to track contract performance. Collaborate with clients to meet contract KPIs, reinforcing Meteor Space's commitment to excellence. Mentor and develop team members, cultivating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Analyze performance metrics and implement strategic enhancements to optimize warehouse productivity. Resolve operational challenges swiftly to ensure uninterrupted service and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role in logistics or warehousing. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and managing diverse teams. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes. Experience in customer communication, preferably via email, with a professional and client-focused approach. Familiarity with tracking and reporting KPIs to drive performance. Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment. [Preferred: Forklift certification or professional qualifications such as IOSH or NVQ in Logistics.] Eligibility to work in the UK and residency in or near Cookstown, Northern Ireland (BT80 9HU), as this role is not open to relocation.

Availability to work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
