Warehouse Supervisor
28,000-31,000 + Bonus, Isfield Near Uckfield, 39 hours per week, Permanent, 25 days holiday, Discretionary bonus scheme, Company pension, Private Medical
The Role
We are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established component distributor, in their search for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. Based at the company's newly expanded warehouse facility in Isfield, this role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a pivotal part in ensuring accurate stock management and on-time dispatch. You will oversee a small team and have direct involvement in the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

• Goods in: Receiving and inspecting deliveries, booking goods into the ERP system (SAGE)
• Managing safe, clear storage and rotating stock using FIFO
• Conducting stock checks and investigating discrepancies
• Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders using carrier tracking systems
• Liaising with couriers and
• Supervising and supporting Warehouse Assistants on a daily basis
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment
• Performing monthly fire, safety, and security checks
• Operating forklift
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order and stock flow

Requirements
To be successful in the role of Warehouse Supervisor, we would expect you to have previous experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, as well as a working knowledge of stock control and goods handling procedures. A forklift licence is highly desired Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAGE, physical fitness, and the ability to safely manage heavy items are also desirable. You will have great communication skills and enjoy working in a small business environment.
This role could suit someone who has worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Operations Team Leader, Logistics Coordinator, or Stores Manager.
