As we expand nationally, our warehouse function is becoming increasingly critical to our success, and we're recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to help ensure smooth daily operations.
The Role
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, support the warehouse team, and ensure kits and stock are processed efficiently and accurately.
This role focuses on team coordination, operational oversight, and Health & Safety compliance, supporting a well-run warehouse that meets the needs of our nationwide installations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Warehouse Operations
Supervise the receiving, storage, and dispatch of solar equipment
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels through regular checks and reporting
Ensure warehouse areas are organised, safe, and tidy
Kit Dispatch & Accuracy
Oversee kit assembly for solar PV and battery storage installations
Check kit contents to ensure accuracy before dispatch
Work closely with installation teams to support timely delivery
Team Supervision & Development
Lead, mentor, and support warehouse staff during daily activities
Allocate tasks and manage workloads to ensure efficiency
Promote a positive, safe, and accountable team environment
Health & Safety Compliance
Ensure all warehouse activities follow Health & Safety regulations
Conduct daily safety checks and support training initiatives
Report incidents and support risk assessments as needed
System & Process Support
Support the use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for stock tracking and reporting
Assist in improving processes and maintaining data accuracy
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
Previous experience supervising warehouse or logistics operations
Understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory control, and dispatch procedures
Good organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse environment
Forklift licence advantageous
Desirable
Experience in solar, construction, M&E, or technical goods distribution
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
