We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Warehouse Supervisor

to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management and logistics, ensuring efficient warehouse processes while maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires proficiency in warehouse management systems and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as shipping and receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency. Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance performance. Oversee the implementation and utilisation of the warehouse management system to optimise inventory control and logistics processes. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch of goods and accurate documentation. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including forklifts, to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Maintain an organised warehouse environment, facilitating effective space utilisation and inventory management. Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within a logistics environment. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly AS400 or similar platforms.

Experience operating forklifts/PPT; certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with warehousing duties. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory levels. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination with team members and external partners.

Working hours and Salary:

Contract type: Permanent

Days of work: any 5 out 7 days; 13:00-22:00

Training would be provided

Salary: 14.89 p/h overtime 19.80

Payment every 4 weeks
