Roofing Gloucester are currently looking to recruit a
Yard Supervisor
, who is self-motivated, has a flair for managing others and is willing to learn people management skills and develop in the role.What does the role involve?
As Yard Supervisor, you will ensure that the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed, while also managing a small team of warehouse operatives.
To be a successful Yard Supervisor you should, understand the construction sector and have knowledge of products and services available from SIG. The successful candidate should also be able to effectively lead a team, build relationships with customers, be a problem solver, prevent stock loss, and uphold H&S.
The success candidate will require:
Experience in manual handling and good attention to details
The ability to lead a team and work under well pressure.
A good knowledge of safe working practices
An understand of stockloss.
Attention to detail and mathematical literacy
Clean and Tidy
The ability to multi-task.
