The role



The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while maintaining strict compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, shipping, and inventory control Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation) for raw materials and finished goods Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to support manufacturing schedules

Food Safety & Compliance



Enforce food safety and GMP practices Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and pest-control standards in all warehouse areas Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation and traceability

Inventory Management



Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shortages Maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP systems

Team Leadership



Train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff and forklift operators Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks and performance reviews Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Health & Safety



Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Verify safe operation of material handling equipment

Process Improvement



Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, space utilization, and workflow Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications



Education & Experience



Maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP systems 5 GCSE's or equivalent; associate degree preferred 3-5 years of warehouse experience in food manufacturing or CPG 1-3 years of supervisory or lead experience

Skills & Knowledge



Counterbalance FLT licence Strong understanding of food safety regulations and warehouse best practices Experience with Unleashed ERP system preferred but other systems acceptable Forklift qualification Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Physical & Work Requirements



Comfortable working in cold, ambient, or freezer environments 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday, betwen 7am and 7PM


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
