Hereford Contract Canning is a fast-growing contract canning business, proudly working with leading drinks brands. Due to ongoing investment and the acquisition of new customers, we are expanding and looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of daily operations at our offsite warehouse and contribute to ongoing improvement across our warehousing activities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead the warehouse team whilst ensuring smooth storage and distribution of materials across warehouses. You will play an important role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production flow and driving operational excellence. .

You'll be part of a dedicated Warehouse team, working Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

Guide, coach, and motivate colleagues to achieve "right first time" standards Communicate plans clearly and ensure daily and weekly priorities are met Build strong relationships with internal departments and external customers Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including staging of materials and reconciliation after manufacture Oversee the return and processing of finished goods requiring rework or sorting Ensure stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO methodology Monitor and investigate inventory variances and identify out-of-date product, working with Supply Chain on resolution Manage Kanban inventory procedures and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels Support barcode/QR code labelling processes and troubleshoot issues Help develop and maintain SOPs, identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes Track supplier and customer performance measures Support stock consolidation efforts to maximise storage efficiency

Required Skills:

Proven experience within a manufacturing warehousing or distribution environment Strong understanding of supply chain processes and their impact on customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel; experience with BC is desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident communicator with strong attention to detail Effective problem solver with a positive, collaborative approach
