We're now looking for a
Warehouse Supervisor
to join our wholesale division and help lead the day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.
Role Overview
As a
Warehouse Supervisor
, you'll oversee and coordinate all aspects of warehouse activity -- from goods-in to dispatch -- ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and in line with GDP (Good Distribution Practice). You'll also play a key role in developing your team, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting process improvements across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse activities including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure all operations meet
GDP
standards and company SOPs.
Maintain accurate stock records and support regular stock checks and reconciliations.
Lead investigations into stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Support the recruitment, training, and performance management of warehouse staff.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
Collaborate with internal teams including Quality, Customer Service, and IT.
Assist with temperature mapping and delegated
Responsible Person (RP)
duties.
Prepare and present operational KPIs and reports.
Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Be flexible to support business needs, including early starts, late finishes, or weekend work.
What We're Looking For From You
Essential:
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical handling and
GDP compliance
.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Confident, approachable, and motivated with a hands-on approach.
Desirable:
Experience leading investigations into stock discrepancies.
Familiarity with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes.
Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated warehouse environment.
