- Warehouse Supervisor

Ramage Transport have a vacancy for a Warehouse Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory control, and a safe working environment. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time Enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety regulations Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organisation Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Coordinate with transport department

Qualifications

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety standards Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks), where applicable

Hours of work

Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm

Saturday 1 in 4 Saturdays = 4 hours

20 days plus 8 bank holidays

Salary

Salary paid weekly via BACS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 37,500.00 per year
