Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Warehouse Supervisor

to join our warehouse team

.

As warehouse supervisor you will oversee operations, during assigned shifts at our busy warehouse. Ensure the smooth running of warehouse activities, maintain high levels of efficiency, and foster a positive working environment for the team.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Shift Management:

Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring targets and deadlines are met. Allocate tasks to team members and monitor performance. Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to maintain workflow continuity.
Health and Safety:

Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Conduct regular safety checks and report any incidents or near-misses. Promote a safety-first culture within the team.
Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and coach the team to achieve operational excellence. Manage staffing levels during shifts, including arranging cover for absences. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Operational Excellence:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Stock Control:

Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management. Ensure all stock is stored securely and in the correct locations.

Shift Pattern - Sunday-Thursday, 6pm-6am

Skills:

Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory processes. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively. Forklift truck licence (desirable). Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification in warehousing or logistics (preferred). Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
