Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations
within our third-party logistics (3PL) facility. The successful candidate will ensure the
efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods on behalf of multiple clients, maintaining the
highest standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational
ability, and valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences. You will play a key part in
ensuring daily operations run smoothly, safely, and in line with client service level
agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational KPIs and client targets.
Plan, allocate, and monitor daily workloads across goods-in, picking, replenishment, and dispatch functions.
Operate Counterbalance and Reach Trucks safely and efficiently when required to support operations.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, client requirements, and health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate stock control and oversee regular inventory checks and system updates.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging high standards of performance and efficiency.
Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to team members.
Liaise with internal departments and external clients to ensure timely and accurate communication.
Support management with performance reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role, ideally within a 3PL or logistics environment.
Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (with up-to-date certification).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock control processes.
A proactive approach to health, safety, and operational compliance.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with warehouse management
systems and Microsoft Office applications.
