Suncream Dairies is a family-owned ice-cream manufacturer based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The business traces its roots to 1934, when Italian-style ice cream was first made by the Manfredi family. Today we produce millions of litres of ice cream per year in a purpose-built BRC-rated factory, supplying retail, foodservice and wholesale customers across the UK and internationally.

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse and Coldstore

operations--keeping people safe, product flowing, and standards audit-ready. You'll set the pace, work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team, and make sure Stock Control (accuracy, rotation, counts and investigations) is rock solid.

What you'll do

Own Stock Control: on-hand accuracy; FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) rotation; cycle/stock counts; investigations and adjustments. Manage inbound/outbound movements and scanning in the WMS (Warehouse Management System), maintaining full traceability and timely, accurate records. Keep BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy and ensure materials and packaging are available to production. Enforce allergen control, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)/housekeeping and H&S; (Health & Safety); keep the site audit-ready every day. Lead, brief and allocate the team; collaborate with Production, Stock Control and Engineering to resolve issues fast and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

Valid Counterbalance (CB) and Reach Truck licences (essential). A positive attitude and the ability to motivate diverse teams. Skill in gaining commitment--setting clear expectations, following up constructively, and holding standards. Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team while maintaining overall control of the shift. Solid warehouse experience with some leadership responsibility; confident with WMS/scanning and documentation. Strong attention to detail on quality, hygiene, housekeeping and audit readiness.
