Limewood Media Ltd is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our fast-growing company. As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be helping with the overall smooth running of the warehouse. You should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Job description



We rely on exceptionally talented, bright and committed people to deliver on our promise to customers. Currently, we're seeking a warehouse supervisor to help oversee operations at our warehouse in Bordon. This skilled multitasker must manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded by their team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously and be a great team motivator.

Objectives of this role



Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with client and customer satisfaction the primary goal, by supervising, organising, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals. Enforce quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Conduct inspections of incoming product and materials. Identify any defects or discrepancies, collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any issues relating to products and materials promptly Train and supervise the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics. Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily warehouse activities, including stock checks, distribution of orders, and ensuring efficiencies in goods. Schedule and oversee the warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency and minimise overtime. Meet regularly with management to analyse productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention. Train and educate the warehouse team on proper handling and usage of packaging materials

Required skills and qualifications



Experience in a warehouse-based role in a team leader or supervisor role. Experience and Knowledge of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment with a dynamic workload and fast turnarounds. Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff. Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.

Preferred skills and qualifications



Health & Safety experience and qualifications. Manual Handling Training, First Aid Training. Competent using Microsoft Excel. Qualified Forklift Driver

Working hours:



40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

The warehouse operational hours will be 09:00 - 17:00
