Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a team within the warehouse/ Low care area, ensuring efficient operations, high productivity, and adherence to H&S and Food Safety standards.

The

Warehouse Supervisor

serves as a bridge between warehouse staff and management, ensuring the team works effectively, safely, and meets performance goals. They must be hands-on, solution-oriented, and capable of managing both people and training all new Operatives, as well as providing supervision, and the main contact for all warehouse staff.

Requirements:



Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and moving goods Forklift License Comfort with operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Keeping up with all maintenance of equipment and the building itself Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively Delegation and task management skills to ensure efficient workflow Clear and concise communication with team members, managers, and other departments Ability to provide constructive feedback and handle team inquiries effectively Strong decision-making skills to address challenges as they arise Ability to think quickly and implement solutions that keep operations on track Efficiently organize tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines and operational goals are met Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple responsibilities Accuracy in inventory management, order picking, and quality checks Ability to spot discrepancies, prevent errors, and ensure high-quality output Understanding of warehouse processes like order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping Familiarity with equipment used in the warehouse (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems) In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and regulations Ability to implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and other tech tools Ability to manage changes in workload or shifts in operational priorities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 34,000.00-38,000.00 per year
