We are currently looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor. Your primary role will be ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and ensuring picking, packing and loading of orders that get sent to our Thai Express restaurants. Our warehouse managed ambient food and packaging products
This role will require flexibility to manage the needs of a growing restaurant chain you will need to manage your shift times to ensure the smooth running the business.
Your will the primary person to support the warehouse and will need to be hardworking, multi-tasking take full ownership.
Main Duties - Manage the warehouse End-to-End
Handle all incoming deliveries
Book-in with suppliers
Off-load using a forklift
Check off delivery prior to acceptance
Organise the warehouse and ensure stock is rotated
Manage all outbound orders
Enter all orders in Warehouse system (Ambient/Fresh/Frozen)
Build ambient pallets for each store - 10-20 pallets per week
Book in with pallet hauliers such as Pallet Line
Load into haulier truck using forklift/handball as required
Reconcile order with stores once received
Logistics Management
Co-ordinate all logistics with haulier or logistics company
Work with our direct suppliers to ensure fresh and frozen orders are delivered with success
Manage all deliveries scheduled into our sites (WEEKLY, MONTHLY, BANK HOLIDAYS)
Constant tracking and monitoring of Deliveries into ours sites
Where company's own vehicle is being used - this may require driving to wholesalers to pick up goods and or delivery to sites on London if required
Warehouse duties
Keep warehouse organised daily/weekly basis and reorganise when large loads of product are arriving.
Use Warehouse management system and keep all products up to date
Monthly stock takes
Alert managers to low stock and short-dated stock
Clean warehouse and keep tidy (inside & out)
Organise incoming/outgoing catering equipment and kitchen equipment used by our restaurants
Basic maintenance of the forklift
Basic maintenance of the warehouse
Document Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments to ensure best practise operation of the warehouse
Experience Required:
Have worked in warehouse doing distribution/order preparation work: 2-3 years min
Good telephone manner
Good level of English both oral and written
Medium level of IT knowledge - Email, Web system usage, pick up new systems quickly
Additional Duties and Opportunities
Manage the planning of importation of goods for Thai Express
Amazon Fulfilment - set up, manage and run an online store on Amazon
Be involved with administration and store level tasks as required
Working toward becoming Warehouse Manager

Forklift License - Yes, but will train right candidate.
Driving License - Mandatory due to location of warehouse.
Driving Experience: Good. Must be able to drive and deliver goods on 3.5 T truck if required

Waltham Abbey - EN9 3BZ (Car required to travel to our offices)
Full time role
Hours - Average 40-50 hours, flexibility on start times with requirement of business.
You may need to work Occasional Sunday and Bank Holidays, stay late or come early to meet deliveries
You will need to prepared to answer queries outside typical work hours where needed
