Opening in 2024 AGP Foods Ltd is a food production company providing high quality fresh produce & frozen meat products for UK retailers.

Based in London AGP foods specialises in a variety of Asian vegetables, fruits & spices. Frozen meat products, including meat rolls & steak cuts.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our company in managing warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all inbound and outbound deliveries, stock receiving, and inventory control, ensuring efficient and smooth warehouse processes.

The successful canddidate will have the abilioty to lead the team by example .

Some weekend work availbility will be required.

Duties:

- Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support
- Work withe logistics lead and drivers to ensure smooth delvery shcdule
- Build pallets/cages and prepare goods for outbound deliveries
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when required

-Maintain Health & safety standards at all times

Skills:

- Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to build pallets/cages effectively
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures (food and beverage)
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Experience operating forklifts for loading and unloading tasks
- Ability to handle materials safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
