Job Summary


Due to the expansion of the current business, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader.

As a Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the correct methods, systems and equipment are used within the Warehouse facility to ensure that the Goods In and Goods Out procedures are adhered to this must include a good understanding of the Crossing Docking Process. Developing new working practices, routines and solutions to improve productivity and product efficiency. It will be integral to work with the Production and Quality departments to produce and oversee new and existing processes, workflows, 5s methodology to streamline the department.

It will also be the responsibility of the Warehouse team leader to carry out regular internal audits of processes & procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards are maintained, this will include carrying out Warehouse Daily & Weekly Audits and other. continuous improvements which will also evolve over time to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities



Be part of the process development of new and existing processes and procedures Carry out internal audits of Stock to ensure these are being adhered too. Lead continuous improvement with select teams. Checks on all operational MHE equipment Always adhere to Health & Safety Regulations. Daily liaison with Transport, Quality and Supply Chains to monitor and improve processes. A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement. Support manufacturing with the kitting and issuing of BoM's Handling of materials across the site

Skills



Strong knowledge of Warehousing, Storage & Distribution principles and methodologies. Knowledge of 5s, Kaizen and Lean warehousing advantageous Analytical skills to assess, monitor and troubleshoot process systems and their performance. Problem-solving abilities to identify, analyse and resolve process related problems quickly and efficiently. Attention to detail to ensure all specifications and regulations are met during the process and implementation stages. The day-to-day duties will involve use of scanners, checking goods in/out documentation, and some basic PC skills. An understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure all processes are compliant and safe. Ability to adapt to new technology and software including MRP/ERP systems that will enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
