To lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods. The role is critical in maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and team performance in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise a team of warehouse operatives, including shift planning, task allocation, and performance management.
Ensure all warehouse activities (goods-in, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns) are completed accurately and on time.
Act as the main point of contact for courier collections, ensuring all shipments are clearly documented with reference numbers, destination details, and contact names.
Support the Operations Manager in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational KPIs.
Train and mentor new staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and company procedures.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g. Internal Sales, Sub Assembly, Quality) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Monitor stock accuracy and participate in cycle counts and audits.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing health and safety procedures and conducting regular checks.
Escalate any issues in a timely manner.

To review Warehouse errors and share outcomes with your team to drive improvements.
Responsible person on site for Fire wardens and first aid.
Key Holder.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Good understanding of warehouse processes and health & safety regulations.
Competent in using WMS and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
