Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team on the Coop contract based in West Thurrock. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in providing support for the Senior Shift Leader as well as for warehouse operatives, to contribute and ensure we meet operational efficiencies.
This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis with an average of 40.25 hours. If successful, you will predominantly work 06:00 \xe2\x80\x93 18:00, though some flexibility may be required.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking to offer a hourly wage of \xc2\xa313.52 per hour with an additional \xc2\xa31 per hour bonus if targets are achieved and 20 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure that training and development requirements for Warehouse Operatives are regularly carried out
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Prioritise and delegate tasks to meet deadlines
  • Monitor productivity and collate colleagues\xe2\x80\x99 figures

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A committed and flexible approach to work
