Aquaterra Energy is seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our team at our Operations Base in Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will have a background in a mechanical or technical role within a similar industry. This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Dismantling, inspecting, reassembling and testing equipment within the AEL product lines.
Taking part in FATs both at the AEL yard and at off-site premises.
Maintaining good standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse premises.
Operating the forklift trucks and assisting in loading and unloading vehicles.
Ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with AEL policies and procedures and in line with ISO 9001 guidelines/requirements.
Assist with delivering offshore services as part of projects: Preparing, redressing tools and equipment within the workshop, not limited to, camera systems, subsea disposable camera systems, various running & retrieval tools, tension rings, centralisers, gyro systems, etc
Maintenance of equipment at job site and returning it in serviceable condition.
Understanding of completing AEL internal documentation & where it is filed.
Supporting AEL staff particularly the Project Engineer, to deliver the offshore phase of projects
Collect or organise collection of information for the purposes of recording, e.g. measurements, serial numbers, elevations, depths, etc.
Preparing/mobilising equipment for offshore phases.
Project inventory management and demobilisation of equipment
Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager.
Participating in testing as part of the onshore project phase as required
Assisting the QHSE department in low risk QA/QC activity under the direction of the QHSE department.
Participation in the workshop/warehouse on call team.
About you:
Good standard of English & Mathematics
City & Guilds/NVQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant Engineering/Mechanical discipline
Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role
Highly organised and accurate
Can deal with ambiguity and conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.
