What does the role include?
Picking and ensuring customers' orders are complete and in good condition ready for delivery or collection
Safe loading and unloading of stock from manufacturers and company vehicles
Safe storage of stock. Keeping to both company and manufacturer guidelines
Maintain a safe working environment by daily housekeeping duties.
Assist with the processing of recyclable products, always observing safe practice
Assisting in daily stock checks and ensuring correct information is relayed to the warehouse / Audit administration team.
Generating reports on our internal system to determine workload.
What Skills and Experience are required?
At Hughes, we believe in developing and training our team members. Whilst you may not have huge warehouse experience you will be guided, trained, and developed to become a valued member of the team.
An energetic, enthusiastic attitude towards all tasks, is important to meet the demands of a busy and physical department
A capability to learn new skills is required to build trust and rapport with the warehouse team.
Flexibility when business needs and customer expectations change.
