We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the picking, packing, and shipping processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading lorries and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch. Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols within the warehouse environment. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all areas are clean and free from hazards. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency. Utilise forklifts and other equipment as required for loading and unloading goods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Strong skills in picking, packing, and materials handling are highly desirable. Ability to perform quality control checks with attention to detail. A valid counterbalance and reach forklift certificate is preferred but not essential. Training may be provided for the right candidate. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items as required throughout the shift. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
