Bluestones is working with a leading distribution company in the Newry area and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immediate start warehouse Operative for there busy distribution site

Hours 2x shifts available

Mid Shift Monday to Friday 2:15pm - 11:15pm

Nightshift Sunday to Thursday 9pm - 5am

Salary

Midshift 12.37phr

Nightshift 13.27 phr

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch. Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials. Handling materials with care to ensure quality control throughout the process. Managing stock levels and ensuring proper storage of goods within the warehouse. Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading deliveries. Maintaining an organised and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Performing regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies as needed. Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Skills

Proficient in picking packing procedures with a keen eye for detail. Strong understanding of materials handling techniques and safety protocols. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory. Knowledge of shipping receiving processes and documentation requirements. Ability to perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products. Capable of heavy lifting as required, with good physical stamina for long shifts. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
