Job Description

Enviroguard have a vacancy for a full-time warehouse worker at our new build property at Boundary Bank in Kendal. We would also consider part time on a pro rata basis.

Enviroguard established in 2006 operate a busy eCommerce business with a friendly and professional working environment.

You'll be responsible for:

Picking and packing orders and preparing them for dispatch to trade account customers and private individuals. Keeping the distribution clean, tidy and safe at all times. Using warehouse machinery including fork lift to move goods from storage areas to packaging areas. Inspecting goods for damage or faults before they are packed. Using industrial packaging materials, such as cardboard boxes, wooden pallets and bubble wrap to safely and securely package goods. Unloading incoming goods from shipping containers. Ensuring that storage areas are kept fully stocked at all times. Working week - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm.

Summary



As a Warehouse worker, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our logistics team, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing your core skills in warehouse experience. With skills in materials handling and familiarity with warehouse management systems, you will ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods. Additionally, your relevant skills in quality control will contribute to maintaining high standards in our warehouse operations. Qualifications



Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking and packing Familiarity with materials handling and quality control processes Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures Strong mechanical aptitude and capability for lifting Experience with stocking and unloading goods efficiently

Pay: 25,400.00-27,040.00 per year
