We are a small family run business, manufacturing handmade lightweight roofing tiles.

We are currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual that is willing to work on their own initiative and with a small dedicated production team.

This is Full Time position starting at 20-30 Hours (Flexible) over 5 days a week between the hours of 07.30- 17:00 Flexibility with these hours may be required. More hours will be available over the summer months plus overtime.

The successful applicant will need to:

Be totally reliable, and in good physical health. Have independent transport to and from work. Be self-motivated and possess good communication skills Fork Truck License would be a great advantage but not essential.
The job will require attention to detail and focus

The work is varied and interesting.

Full Training will be given.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Title : Warehouse Operative

Reports to : Production Manager

Department : Warehouse

Role Purpose :

To provide support to the production manager in the smooth running of the warehouse to ensure that all production and dispatches are correct.

To ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy

To follow all company H&S policies and procedures

Key Accountabilities

1. Client care - To promote a positive professional attitude

2. Taking delivery of goods and supplies. - Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles checking the information is correct and recorded accurately. Stacking of empty pallets.

3. Storing of goods - Stacking of goods in correct storage bays in a safe and tidy manner

4. Preparation of stock - Flaming/ Spray Painting, Granulating, Varnishing tiles for dispatch

5. Loading and packaging outbound deliveries of stock by hand or forklift - Preparing outbound deliveries and customer orders in a prompt and correct manner ensuring that all H&S policies are abided by.

6. Keep records of stock & assisting with stock taking. - Assist with the Production manager as required.

7. Keeping Warehouse and work area clean and tidy - Follow the company clean as you go policy.

8. Teamwork - Support the team as and when required

9. Communication - To share skills and knowledge within the team. To provide a positive and professional image of the company
