Role Overview
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the safe handling, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products. The role requires high attention to detail, adherence to GDP (Good Distribution Practice) SOP's guidelines, and the ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store pharmaceutical products in line with company SOPs and GDP guidelines.
Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with attention to batch numbers and expiry dates.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely (Counter balance FLT) license essential).
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory control and stock rotation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Ensure compliance with MHRA regulations and internal quality standards.
Support temperature-controlled storage and cold chain logistics as required.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformances to the Warehouse Manager.
Assist with goods returns and quarantine procedures.
Essential Requirements
Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) License
Previous experience in a warehouse, ideally within a GDP-regulated pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good understanding of warehouse safety standards and SOPs
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Basic computer literacy (experience with WMS or ERP systems is a plus)
Desirable
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Experience working in temperature-controlled environments
Familiarity with pharmaceutical product handling or healthcare logistics
