Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled waste handler and machine operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating excavator inculding, dump trucks, This role requires heavy lifting and the ability to load and unload materials efficiently. As a Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining operational efficiency.

Duties

Perform loading and unloading of materials using appropriate equipment. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling materials. Maintain accurate records of the maintenance. Collaborate with team members to optimise work productivity with in yard. Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required during loading/unloading processes.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck operations and maintenance. Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
