We are looking for a Waste Operative/ Driver to join our team and help us manage the disposal of waste Refrigeration and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

We are ideally looking for a Driver with a Forklift Licence who can in addition to running the forklift in the warehouse and loading/unloading artics, also fill in for the luton van drivers when they are ill or on holiday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste materials, as well as ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ability to complete paperwork correctly and to record numbers of items and weights as well as following instructions both verbal and written is a must.

Ability to manouver a three wheeled forklift in tight spaces is required as is ideally being able to use a clamp truck.

Looking for Hard Working people to join our team to manually dismantle the refrigeration and other equipment that we collect from around the UK. You will be required to assist with the loading/unloading of the fridges (domestic and commercial) as well as other manual type work in the warehouse when not required sorting pallets for outbound collections or unloading or loading.

You will need to be physically fit as the role is very demanding and requires you to move/lift large bulky and heavy items on your own or with help.

Duties:Use of Electrtic 3 wheeled forklift and driving Company luton vans as required as well as Manual Dismantle of materials using hand tools and power tools; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing waste in waste area when not required on Forklift/ Driving.
Following instructions to process items in the Warehouse as required.
Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse and that stock is in the correct location and labelled correctly.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse clean and tidy inside and out and by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for warehouse.
Ability to drive Luton Taillift vans ideally into large city's including london.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:Teamwork, Coordination, Organisation, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Dependability, Honesty.
Responsibilities:

Operate Forklifts in a safe and responsible manner. Maintain the cleanliness of the work area. Follow safety protocols when handling materials. Load and unload waste containers. Ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Work hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 -4:00 when in the warehouse.
