Duties

Assemble and disassemble various types of watches and clocks, ensuring accuracy in every step of the process. Perform repairs on timepieces, diagnosing issues and applying appropriate solutions. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out intricate tasks. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in watchmaking technology.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge, with an understanding of how various components work together within timepieces. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, tweezers, and magnifying glasses for detailed work. Experience with power tools relevant to watchmaking or clockmaking tasks. Familiarity with assembly techniques specific to horological products. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to work efficiently in a structured environment.
