Overview


We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user experience and information architecture, with the ability to design engaging and responsive websites. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create visually appealing and functional web solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities



Design and develop user-friendly websites that align with client specifications and brand guidelines. Conduct user research to understand target audiences and improve website usability. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma and InVision. Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and performance. Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional websites using HTML, Angular, and Telerik. Manage information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and content organisation. Assist in email marketing campaigns by designing responsive email templates. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web design.

Experience



Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of web design projects. Proficiency in design software such as Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular. Understanding of SQL for database management related to web applications is advantageous. Experience with SEO strategies to optimise website performance is preferred. Strong skills in user research methodologies to inform design decisions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Must have a good understanding and have worked with Wordpress.
